According to a study at the Kauffmann Foundation, women are entering the workforce in numbers that haven’t been seen before but few of them are entrepreneurial. There is a need for mentoring, funding and women entrepreneurs as role-models profiled in the media among other issues to increase the number of women going into business.

According to Kauffmann Study,
Nearly half of women entrepreneurs state that a challenge facing their business is the lack of available mentors. Mentorship plays an important role in developing successful entrepreneurs, for both men and women. If women are unable to find mentors, they may fail to reach their full entrepreneurial potential.
